What a week—and we’re still waiting for the weekend. After a rousing protest in the rain this morning outside the Sheraton, in anticipation of the Trustees’ meeting there, we’re back at Crouse-Hinds Hall, unsure what happens when the building closes tonight.
But our visibility is growing: this morning three of our members joined Pastor Jaime for his radio show Power Perspectives on Power 620. Tune in to hear us around 4pm on Saturday November 8, on 620AM. We also were covered in Democracy Now!—check out the video coverage above.
We understand that Crouse-Hinds Hall will be shutting down at 5 on Friday afternoon. After that, we assume that the same policy that applies when the building closes at 10PM will be in place—meaning that anyone still here must have an SU ID, and possibly that when you leave, you cannot get back in untilMonday morning. SO! We need people willing to basically camp out from Friday at 5PM until Monday at 7AM at Crouse-Hinds in order to keep a good presence here at all time.

There *may* be a chance we will be allowed to leave and return; we will try to negotiate that, but you should be prepared to stay the weekend just in case.
We will need LOTS of food, bring toiletries, computer and phone chargers, and fun things to do! Board games? Pajamas? Your lovely, wonderful selves! Bring it all here before 5 on Friday.
We hope to see you soon! Thanks for your support, and keep checking back for updates.
